Help Installing Ventrilo
  • Before proceeding, make sure you've downloaded Ventrilo
  • Run the installer you've just downloaded, it will likely be on your desktop or in C:\Program Files\ most likely. Check your download path if you're unable to find it.
  • First, you need to agree to the license agreement. Most people won't read it over, but if you've got the time go for it, can't hurt!
  • Next, simply provide Ventrilo with your name and organization (if applicable). You're likely going to leave the install for all users, but if you share a PC you're best to install it only for you.
  • Lastly, provide the install directory. Ventrilo defaults to C:\Program Files\Ventrilo\, it's best to leave it that way unless you have other reasons not to.
  • Once all of these steps are completed, you're done! Open the Ventrilo icon on your desktop, and start using.
